The vision of Another Avenue is to provide another resource through healthy foods, to educate, empower, and bring together communities of various cultures and religious faiths, while strengthening our faith in the Creator regardless of religious and cultural differences. While forming coalitions, birthing new relationships, and creating alliances for our individual communities and neighborhoods and providing instructions to resources for empowerment and growth.

To provide resources to help individuals and communities to become Self-sufficient and to bridge the gap of communication within communities while forming a covenant for a brighter future for the community.
Our Community
Located in the heart of the North Nashville area,the creation of the market is in response to the growing demand in the community for a local natural food store in a food desert.
North Nashville area which is the home of Tennessee State University, Fisk University, and Meharry Medical College.The market will be a comfortable place to meet and shop in the community.
Another Avenue Cultural Resource Center
Another Avenue Natural Foods Market & Cultural Resource Center will provide a full range of services, including providing healthy alternatives in a neighborhood where there are none. Another Avenue will also create accessible natural food preparation classes, healthy nutrition programs, urban gardening workshops, "Edible Weeds" workshops, entrepreneurship workshops, and bring in experts in all subject areas
Another Avenue Natural Foods Market
Another Avenue Natural Foods Market will feature nutritional, earth friendly products at affordable prices for families. The Market will offer customers organic and locally grown produce, chemical- and preservative-free groceries, cruelty-free body care and eco-household products. Another Avenue Mobile Education
Another Avenue is teaming up with EarthMatters TN to provide healthy foods education in Nashville Communities that have been identified as food deserts. Through a revived mobile market provided by EarthMatters, the communities will be provided access to fresh produce and select non-perishale items. Another Avenue will provide mobile education to these communities on transitioning to a healthy food diet. Studies have shown that creating access to affordable healthy foods in communities similar to Nashville's food deserts have led to a decrease in prevalence of obesity, diabetes, hypertension, and other chronic diet related diseases.
